Aktualizace pro SharePoint Server 2019 (September 2020 CU)

Pro SharePoint Server 2019 byla vydána nová kumulativní aktualizace (September 2020 CU).

Po dokončení instalace nezapomeňte na spuštění průvodce konfigurací služby SharePoint 2019 (SharePoint 2019 Products Configuration Wizard), nebo příkazu:
PSConfig.exe -cmd upgrade -inplace b2b -wait -cmd applicationcontent -install -cmd installfeatures -cmd secureresources -cmd services -install

Upozornění

Vždy instalujte oba balíčky a to v pořadí:

  1. language independent (aktualizuje jazykové nezávislé komponenty)
  2. language dependent (aktualizuje jazykové závislé komponenty)

V případě jazykově závislých balíčku (language dependent) nezáleží jaký jazyk si ve výsledku vyberete, jelikož každý balíček obsahuje aktualizace pro všechny jazyky.

V případě, že na SharePoint Server 2019 farmu instalujete nový jazykový balíček, je nutné následně znova nainstalovat jazykové závislý balíček (language dependent).

Nezapomínejte, že krom SharePoint je nutné mít aktualizovanou i službu Distributed Cache, viz. Jak správně aktualizovat Distributed Cache a v případě Office Online Serveru musíte mít aktuální RTM verzi, viz.  Jak aktualizovat Office Online Server.

Známe chyby této aktualizace

  • Issue 1

    Users who install SharePoint in non-English languages or install non-English language packs can’t work with some modern pages in non-English sites.

    Status: Microsoft is investigating this issue and will post more information in this article when a fix becomes available.

    Workaround: To work around this issue, users can switch back to classic mode. 

  • Issue 2

    There is an issue about Search Settings in Site Settings. It will block Result SourcesQuery RulesSearch Result Sources, and Search Query Rules pages from being displayed.

    Workaround: To work around this issue, you can use PowerShell to manage your result sources and query rules at the site collection and site level.

SharePoint Server 2019

This security update resolves vulnerabilities in Microsoft Office that could allow remote code execution if a user opens a specially crafted Office file. To learn more about these vulnerabilities, see the following security advisories: 

This security update contains improvements and fixes for the following nonsecurity issues in SharePoint Server 2019:

  • Reduces the time to stop application pools.
  • Fixes an issue in which restoring a Search service application that has Overwrite type from a full backup fails after the Search service application is deleted.
  • Fixes an issue in which the URL redirection occurs to the root instead of the actual resource when a user logs in to SharePoint by using multiple authentication types, such as a Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) token and a FedAuth cookie, at the same time.
  • Fixes an issue in which multiple items are added to the list when you add a new item to a list and select Save multiple times on the Ribbon.
  • Fixes a memory leak issue that occurs when you export a site.
  • Fixes a potential memory leak.
  • Fixes an issue in which multiple columns or rows can’t be copied from Excel tables to the list in Quick Edit view.
  • Fixes an issue in which the DocumentSharing.svc service is broken and users receive a „403 Access Denied“ error message.
  • Fixes an issue that generates a high CPU cost when you call search API on an extended web application.
  • Fixes an issue in which the library setting that should force opening a document in Word is not honored in classic experience when you use browsers other than Internet Explorer or legacy Edge.
This security update also contains fixes for the following nonsecurity issues. To fix these issues completely, you have to install KB 4484504 together with this update.

  • Fixes an issue in which the „shared with other users“ context menu in subfolders doesn’t work in classic view.
  • Fixes an issue in which a file is uploaded to the wrong folder in classic view of OneDrive for Business.
  • Fixes an issue in which Reply Rich Text Editor (RTE) textbox fields are identified by JAWS as „unlabeled“ in Discussion Board.
  • Fixes an issue in which images are identified as „undefined“ by JAWS in Picture Library/Slides view.
  • Fixes an issue in which a list view cannot auto-refresh after you upload a new folder to it.
  • Fixes an issue in which a „Multiple Entries Matched“ error occurs when you edit a ListItem that has a People column.
  • Fixes an issue in which the Modern documents page appear blank when a new user first logs on.
  • Fixes an issue in which the ellipses (…) menu to „Manage Access“ appears only the second time that you select Share.
