Updates for SharePoint 2010 (March 2016 CU)

The March 2016 CU cumulative update has been released for SharePoint 2010.

The March CU fixes all SharePoint 2010 products. The March CU is a full update (Uber package), except for SharePoint Foundation. SharePoint Foundation received only an individual fix, requiring the February CU (February 2013 CU).

This CU contains all SharePoint 2010 fixes, including security patches, released since SP2. It does not include SP2, which is required for installation.

After installation, remember to run the SharePoint 2010 Products Configuration Wizard, or:

PSConfig.exe -cmd upgrade -inplace b2b -force -cmd applicationcontent -install -cmd installfeatures

Important

Before installing the CU, ensure SP2 is already installed.
