Fixing a blank auth.owa page
In my case, the culprit was always Microsoft Exchange Forms-Based Authentication Service, responsible for authenticating access to OWA.
After updates, server restarts, etc., it sometimes failed to start despite its automatic startup setting.
If you have the same problem, with a blank page at ../auth.owa showing "blanc page Http 500", check whether Microsoft Exchange Forms-Based Authentication Service is running and start it manually if needed.
