Any Windows Server 2008 edition can be installed without activation and used for testing for 60 days. This period can be restarted three times, extending the initial 60-day trial by up to 180 days, for a total of 240 days.
Days remaining in the trial period
From the command line (CMD) in C:\windows\system32 run:
slmgr.vbs -dli – shows the days remaining in the current 60-day trial
Renewing the trial for another 60 days
From the command line (CMD) in C:\windows\system32 run:
slmgr.vbs –rearm – renews the trial for another 60 days
can be used only three times, for a total of 240 days!
