Updates for SharePoint 2010 (April 2016 CU)

The April 2016 CU cumulative update has been released for SharePoint 2010.

The April CU fixes SharePoint Server 2010 and Project Server 2010. SharePoint Foundation 2010 is not included. The April CU is a full update (Uber package), requiring no earlier updates apart from SP2.

The CU includes all SharePoint 2010 security fixes released since SP2. It does not include SP2, which is required to install this CU.

After installation, remember to run the SharePoint 2010 Products Configuration Wizard, or:

PSConfig.exe -cmd upgrade -inplace b2b -force -cmd applicationcontent -install -cmd installfeatures

Before installing the CU, ensure SP2 is already installed.

Always install only the CU matching your product version on a SharePoint 2010 farm.

The Project Server 2010 CU already includes:
