Starting with the March 2023 CU, updates for SharePoint Server Subscription Edition are released as a single package (known as an Uber package) containing both language-independent and language-dependent fixes. Only one package needs to be installed to fully update the server.

After installation, remember to run the SharePoint Products Configuration Wizard or the following command:

PSConfig.exe -cmd upgrade -inplace b2b -wait -cmd applicationcontent -install -cmd installfeatures -cmd secureresources -cmd services -install

Important notes

The language you select when downloading the update does not matter because the same package is downloaded for every language.

Note for this CU:

Installing KB5002355 requires the release version of Microsoft SharePoint Server Subscription Edition on the computer.

On Modern pages, copying and pasting into the Text web part from the Microsoft Word or Microsoft OneNote desktop application does not work. This issue is resolved by KB5002375.

Starting with this update, new Search service applications cannot be created successfully. In Central Administration, their Search Service Application: Search Administration page reports: "The search service is not able to connect to the machine that hosts the administration component." Search service applications created before this update continue to work normally. The issue is resolved by KB5002390.
