Important notes
Always install both packages in this order:
- language independent components (core CU for this release)
- language-dependent components (latest available language CU: KB 5002110, January 2022 CU)
For language-dependent packages, the language you select does not matter because each package contains updates for all languages.
If you install a new language pack on a SharePoint Server Subscription Edition farm, you must reinstall the language-dependent update afterwards.
Note for this CU:
Modern home pages and other site pages may render incorrectly in Internet Explorer. Use a modern browser such as Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome as a workaround.
The List and Document Library web parts on modern site pages cannot open their details pane. Perform the corresponding operation on the list or document page instead.
Modern site pages have problems with the left navigation pane, the web part editing pane, and page title editing. The KB states that a fix will be provided in the next release.
