The new Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) browser also introduced problems rendering some websites. The solution is simple: enable IE8's new Compatibility View feature to emulate IE7. Insert this meta tag in the head:
Automatically enabling Compatibility View for IE8 browsers.

The web page will then automatically be displayed in IE7 Compatibility View.
